Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Utilities & Infrastructure (Starlink) based in Bastrop, TX. You will lead end-to-end sourcing for energy, gas, and water, overseeing capital equipment procurement and supplier performance to support high-volume production ramps.

You will design sourcing models, negotiate contracts, analyze cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs and KPIs while mitigating risk. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or 10+ years in supply chain roles with related disciplines.
• 1+ years of large capital equipment procurement experience.
• Experience in power generation, ASUs, or specialized vessels is a plus.
• Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies for Energy, Gas, and Water categories.
• Establish and maintain internal stakeholder relationships.
• Design strategic sourcing models to optimize value and reduce costs.
• Present to executives on high-stakes negotiations.
• Communicate and drive supplier compliance with strategies.
• Identify cost reduction projects and manage stakeholder coordination.
• Perform quantitative analyses of financial impacts and improvements.
• Define SLAs and KPIs for suppliers and monitor performance.
• Draft contracts with legal and manage contract obligations.
• Drive year-over-year cost optimization and reduce transactional volume.
