Job summary

Formlabs in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Global Supply Manager to lead supplier qualification, cost modeling, and strategic sourcing for NPI builds. You will partner with R&D, manage PFEP in NPI BOM, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance while mitigating risk across global supply chains.

You'll identify new suppliers, travel up to 20%, and communicate technical requirements clearly. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, manufacturing or supplier quality.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% for supplier audits and relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify suppliers for new product introductions.
  • Own PFEP in an NPI BOM and manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Facilitate communication of technical requirements between Suppliers and Formlabs R&D.
  • Research new manufacturing technologies to strengthen supply chain strategies.
  • Identify supply risks, lead negotiations, and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and sourcing processes.
  • Lead cost modeling and cost estimation for new products.
  • Source material from suppliers and contract manufacturers to meet NPI builds.
  • Maintain build readiness reports and provide senior leadership updates on material availability and costs.
