Job summary

Finlays Solutions seeks a Sustainability Manager to lead global supply chain sustainability within the SRM program and partner with US, UK and Kenyan business units to embed the strategy. This role provides business partnership across the Solutions group and drives sustainability initiatives.

The position emphasizes supplier sustainability, training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, with a compensation package including health care, a quarterly bonus, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or above, MSc or bachelor’s in science/social science/Agro-Science or Sustainability/Environment related discipline
• Strong supplier and supply chain management experience including sourcing and procurement related activities
• Experience developing supplier management programs, standards, and risk training in environmental and human rights areas
• Strong cross-functional project and program management experience
• Understanding risk management approaches within business and application to value chain
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels; comfortable presenting to working groups
• Good stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong analytical skills with data sets
• Good commercial and financial acumen with ability to convey sustainability benefits
• Good IT and systems experience including Excel skills and reporting systems

Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering supplier sustainability aspects of SRM onboarding and performance management
• Supporting sustainability traceability requirements with supply chain and quality to meet customer traceability requirements
• Developing resources and delivering training across supply chain, quality and procurement teams
• Participating in supplier engagement activities: visits, audits, reviews, training
• Providing input to further develop the SRM program
• Supporting customer engagement on sustainability via meetings, presentations, surveys
• SME for sustainability assurance and compliance matters
• Supporting internal engagement and sustainability training across functions, employees, suppliers and customers
• Completing and coordinating reporting for USA sites
