Job summary

LANXESS, a leading specialty chemicals company, seeks a senior global supply chain leader for its Fords, NJ site. The role drives end-to-end planning, scheduling, and customer service in partnership with senior leaders across manufacturing, commercial, product, and global planning functions.

The position requires 15+ years of global SCM experience, SAP expertise, and a track record of transforming and optimizing service, inventory, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive supply chain management experience in global environments.
• Experience in end-to-end planning, IBP, demand & supply planning, scheduling, inventory optimization, and network design.
• Proven track record in improving service, working capital, cost, resilience, and transformation at scale.
• Strong experience with SAP-enabled manufacturing/planning; exposure to advanced planning platforms, analytics, automation, and AI is valued.

Responsibilities

• Set global supply chain strategy and lead end-to-end planning, scheduling, and customer service with senior leadership.
• Own delivery of enterprise performance commitments across service, inventory, cash flow, and logistics cost.
• Provide executive ownership of Integrated Business Planning and order-to-cash performance.
• Build a high-performing global organization by attracting and developing senior talent.
• Establish governance and mitigate capacity, material, manufacturing, labor, and force majeure risks.
• Shape long-range network, capacity, inventory, and production strategies for profitable growth.
