Job summary

Teleflex seeks an experienced supply chain leader to manage Purchasing, Manufacturing Planning and Warehouse functions at a single site. You will align production schedules with customer demand, and drive collaboration across marketing, engineering and procurement to meet on-time delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• MBA or equivalent degree is an asset.
• People leadership and development experience with an aptitude for building and leading teams.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience of 5-10 years in a complex planning and purchasing position with regional or Global exposure.
• Ability to translate complex situations into simple solutions.
• Experience with managing product launches and phase outs.
• Excellent knowledge with Microsoft environment (Excel is a must) and SAP ERP system.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to appropriate levels.
• Proactive approach; ability to persuade and influence others.
• Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to drive continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Purchasing, Manufacturing Planning and Warehouse functions across one manufacturing site.
• Develop work processes that integrate customer delivery requirements into manufacturing plans.
• Ensure material is procured to support the manufacturing plan and shipped to sterilization and DCs on time.
• Develop Goals & Objectives and evaluate team performance; define development plans for each member.
• Plan production schedules for manufacturing through subordinate planners; implement policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company and safety policies; approve scheduling and procurement practices.
• Provide a closed loop connection between marketing/sales demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Submit production planning reports to management and address production problems.
• Lead the S&OP monthly cycle and contribute to long term strategy.
