Job summary

AMD in Austin, Texas is seeking a Supply Chain Security Manager to join its Corporate Security Investigations team. You will lead on-site and virtual security audits, conduct due diligence on suppliers and logistics partners, and help safeguard high-value AMD products across the global supply chain.

The role requires strong investigative experience, knowledge of C-TPAT/TAPA, willingness to travel, and collaboration with Legal, Global Trade, Procurement, and IT Security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, business, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in corporate investigations or security roles.
• Experience with global logistics and trade security frameworks (C-TPAT, TAPA).
• Willingness to travel internationally to supplier, manufacturing, and logistics sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and virtual audits and due diligence assessments of suppliers, manufacturing sites, and 3PL facilities.
• Investigate incidents of product theft, loss, diversion, and counterfeiting with cross-functional teams.
• Perform OSINT research on supply chain partners to identify security risks.
• Support compliance with C-TPAT and other trade security programs across AMD sites.
• Prepare clear audit findings and recommended corrective actions for leadership.
• Collaborate with Legal, Global Trade, Procurement, and Information Security to mitigate risks.
• Support security of high-value AI infrastructure products through manufacturing to distribution.
• Track corrective action plans and verify timely closure.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of AMD’s supply chain security program.
