Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Global Supply Chain Program Manager to define the material strategy and lead procurement for a portfolio of programs. Based in Promontory, UT, you will manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-cost delivery of hardware for production.

The role requires 8+ years in program management or related fields, strong leadership, and experience with EVMS and government contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in program management, project management, supply chain or related field.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience.
• People management experience.
• Experience budgets and schedules of significant scope and complexity.
• Ability to work high level strategic initiatives that impact long-term business goals.
• Experience and comfort level working and supporting Earned Value Management requirements.
• Experience implementing and executing material program plans to meet program objectives.
• Experience with government contracting requirements (FAR, DFARS, ITAR).
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Material Program Managers responsible to the PMO for Global Supply Chain.
• Oversees program budgets and resource planning to meet financial commitments.
• Manages material strategy and procurement plans across program portfolios.
• Ensures schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and subcontract strategies are complete before execution.
• Mitigates risks related to suppliers or supply chain execution.
• Interacts with engineering, operations, quality and leadership on program status.
