Job summary

Unusual Machines, a U.S.-based drone and drone parts company, is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead global sourcing, procurement, planning, and logistics for rapid growth. You will shape the supplier network, drive cost and delivery improvements, and ensure compliant, domestic production across programs.

This leadership role requires building high-performing teams, partnering with engineering and production, and maintaining robust ERP planning to optimize material flow and supply

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in supply chain, procurement, or operations.
• 5+ years leading sourcing, purchasing, planning, or logistics teams.
• Experience procuring complex hardware (electronics, drones).
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• NetSuite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and planning with clear priorities and performance expectations.
• Develop global sourcing strategies for drone hardware components.
• Negotiate commercial terms and supplier agreements.
• Build a resilient supplier base with dual sourcing and contingencies.
• Translate demand into executable purchasing and planning.
• Drive supplier performance with scorecards and reviews.
