Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a New College Grad in Boise, Idaho to become a Supply Chain Planner. The role focuses on orchestrating supply and inventory to meet revenue plans, using analytics, Tableau, and planning systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, supply chain, OR or related field.
• Strong fundamentals: safety stock, forecasting, optimizing logistics network, linear programming, TOC.
• Experience with SQL, data analysis, and visualization tools including Excel macros, Tableau, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Position supply and inventory to meet revenue plans by assessing constraints and driving actions.
• Apply constraint-based planning, scenario modeling, trade-off analysis, and demand-supply balancing to generate feasible responses.
• Communicate risks, upside opportunities, and inputs to optimize demand-supply alignment within constraints.
• Project supply to support customer commitments and ensure efficient delivery performance.
• Publish supply responses for customer demand, sales orders, factory plans, material plans, and inventory replenishment strategies.
• Use Tableau and optimization tools to identify supply-demand mismatches and recommend adjustments.
