General Motors is seeking a supply chain professional to support the Global Supply Chain functions, focusing on resolving complex production and capacity challenges with cross-functional teams.

You will assess supplier schedules, collaborate across departments, and provide leadership to minimize plant disruptions while supporting launch and build-out activities. Occasional travel to plants may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production
• Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production
• Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions
• Summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
• Handle complex capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation
• Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution
• Be flexible and sometimes work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution
• Travel to plant locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out
• Tackle problems and implement innovative strategies
• Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions
