Job summary

Safran is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain activities from sales through project execution in North America, with a focus on international purchasing and supplier coordination.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field and 5+ years of experience managing a supply chain, including export/import compliance knowledge. Domestic and international travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven success managing a supply chain organization.
• International purchasing and shipping experience.
• Supplier and vendor management experience.
• Export/Import compliance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain activities commencing in the sales and project phase.
• Provide costs estimates to procurement team.
• Receive requirements from requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
• Monitor delivery of parts and services that have been purchased.
• Manage the purchase of facility systems, test equipment, tools, raw material, services and supplies for operation of a project.
• Develop long- and short-term objectives for supply chain aligned with company goals.
