Job summary

The LEGO Group in Virginia is seeking a Planning Department trainee to rotate between Capacity and Production Planning and Import/Export. You will support daily operations to ensure on-time material delivery, learn about outbound finished goods distribution, and help with documentation for import/export declarations.

You will gain experience in SAP, Excel reporting, and KPI maintenance while aiding in planning and scheduling tasks across the department.

Qualifications

• Area of Study – Supply Chain Mgt, Logistics, Business Administration,
• Years exp – currently pursuing Bachelors or Associate Degree
• 2 yr vs 4yr – No preference
• Analyst skills, admin, Data analytics, creating reports
• Available in winter or summer
• Masters a Plus
• Starting Hourly Rate $23.68

Responsibilities

• Assist the administration and filings for LVA Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)
• Monitor in – transit movements of shipments
• Collect documentation for import and export declarations
• Support US tariff classification and filing of US customs entries
• Payment of freight invoices
• Create and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
