gpac is recruiting a Supply Chain Development Engineer to connect internal purchasing, engineering, and project management with an external manufacturing network. You will oversee supplier onboarding, assess capacities, and scale global sourcing options to optimize cost and lead times.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing environments, a BA/BS in a technical discipline, and the ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

Qualifikationen

• 3 to 5 years in production, quality or manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Advanced 2D blueprint analysis, BOM interpretation, and Excel usage.
• Ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
• Proven ability to identify manufacturing cost drivers and negotiate with manufacturers.

Aufgaben

• Spearhead supplier onboarding and evaluate vendor capacity and quality.
• Design vendor improvement strategies to reduce lead times and costs.
• Interpret GD&T and BOMs to identify cost-saving manufacturing options.
• Mentor external partners on processes and quality control per standards.
• Assist procurement in evaluating quotes and supporting negotiations.
