Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Associate Director of Data Science for Global Supply Chain Digital. You will lead the development and deployment of AI/ML and GenAI solutions to transform global supply chain operations and enable reliable delivery of medicines worldwide.

The role includes scaling a India-based capability, defining governance, and guiding a team of data scientists and digital developers across locations.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's with strong computing/analytics background.
• Experience building scalable data science solutions for manufacturing or supply chain.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of AI/ML solutions across end-to-end supply chain.
• Scale digital products and analytics applications across onshore/offshore teams.
• Establish Global Supply Chain Digital capability including governance.
• Provide leadership to data scientists and digital developers globally.
• Partner with business, IT, and data eng teams for scalable analytics.
• Develop executive insights and KPIs for operational transformation.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement in the team.
