Job Description: Quartermaster is seeking a highly organized and resourceful Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to oversee the movement of parts, products, and materials across our global manufacturing and deployment operations. You will take ownership of planning, procurement, vendor coordination, inventory management, and outbound logistics—ensuring the right components arrive at the right place at the right time. This role supports our Smartmast platform, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to keep production lines supplied, prototypes moving, and deployments on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage procurement of components, subassemblies, and materials across multiple vendors and contract manufacturers
2. Maintain accurate inventory records and forecasts across prototypes, production units, spares, and field-deployed systems
3. Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including international shipments, customs/tariffs/duties, warehousing, and field deployment kits
4. Develop and optimize supply chain processes for lead time reduction, cost efficiency, and supply assurance
5. Track supplier performance, manage purchase orders, and resolve delivery or quality issues proactively
6. Work with engineering to anticipate BOM changes and ensure supply continuity through product transitions
7. Manage relationships with key logistics partners and negotiate terms to ensure reliable shipping and service levels
8. Report supply chain status and risks to leadership, and implement mitigation plans as needed

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience managing supply chain or logistics operations in hardware or electromechanical systems environments
• Strong understanding of multi-vendor procurement, global logistics, and component lifecycle management
• Experience with ERP or inventory management tools (e.g., NetSuite, Fishbowl, or similar)
• Familiarity with import/export regulations and documentation for international shipments
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and communicate clearly across teams
• Bonus: experience working with ruggedized systems, defense/maritime supply chains, or startup-scale operations
