Brobston Group is seeking a Category Sourcing professional to develop and execute strategies for assigned commodities, collaborating with R&D, Packaging, and Marketing to meet business needs. The role emphasizes supplier management, negotiations, data analytics, and ensuring supply continuity across the value chain.

The candidate will lead global supplier relationships, drive cost improvements, and support sustainability and regulatory initiatives within the rigid plastics packaging portfolio.

Qualifications

• University degree.
• 2 years related experience.
• 10-20% travel.
• Fact-based decision maker, pragmatic, resourceful.
• Can-do and will-do attitude.
• Progressive approach to strategic sourcing with focus on value and improving service.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, process, and continuous improvement experience.
• Personal and credible to support building productive relationships.

Responsabilités

• Support development, implementation, and execution of Category sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, data analytics, RFQs, and negotiations.
• Support Joint Value Creation partners focused on revenue growth and margin optimization.
• Drive cost improvements, quality, and supply continuity through supplier management and negotiations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Packaging, and Marketing to align procurement with business needs.
• Lead cross-supplier negotiations for best overall cost position.
• Maintain global supplier relationships across the supply chain.
• Develop and refresh robust supply continuity plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Lead budgeting processes across Brands for assigned commodities.
• Deliver sustainability initiatives and ensure regulatory and environmental best practices.
• For rigid plastics packaging: develop pricing methodology with converters to ensure transparency and supply continuity.
• Assist in run-strategy planning to balance order quantities and cost, and review MOQ vs cost/inventory/E&O.
• Explore new molding/decoration tech to reduce lead-time and improve supply security.
• Identify solutions toward plastic sustainability (PCR, Ocean Plastics, etc.).
• Propose and implement best network design considering total cost and lead-time.
