Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Technical Advisor in Global Supplier Quality (GSQ) to lead quality initiatives with suppliers and drive continuous improvement. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing risk, and delivering reliable supplier performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Based in Fort Worth, TX, the position requires strong leadership, audits experience, and the ability to work remotely when needed.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, quality and/or supply chain.
• Experience with international quality standards including AS9000, ISO13485, IATF16949, FDA, VDA.
• Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–30%.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to other GSQ team members.
• Monitor customer and Celestica requirements flowed down to suppliers to ensure clear expectations are defined and understood.
• Lead Quality Planning during new product introduction, flawless launch, transitions and significant process changes.
• Participate in supplier onboarding and risk-based supplier audits (on-site or virtual).
• Develop and deploy robust Global Supplier Quality processes and procedures; maintain document control and continual improvement.
• Report key issues, supplier performance and other metrics to management.
• Work with Celestica’s site representatives, Commodity Team’s and Suppliers to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify risks and supplier performance issues and drive Supplier Quality Development to address systemic issues.
• Participate in Periodic Business Reviews of high impact/Preferred Suppliers.
• Facilitate education of suppliers on core quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, 8D/Root Cause Analysis and problem resolution.
