Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or logistics preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or supplier quality.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and government compliance.
• Strong statistical analysis and QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing specifications to identify materials needed for production.
• Research, source, and evaluate vendors to supply materials.
• Visit vendor facilities and assess procedures for compliance.
• Perform supplier quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Review incoming materials for defects and quality.
• Conduct tests to identify quality issues on products.
• Maintain reports on supplier quality and defect rates.
• Provide guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.
• Act as liaison between senior management and vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Use a variety of precision and non-precision inspection/test equipment.
• Attend on-site work, punctual, able to work overtime.
• Collaborate with colleagues and interact professionally with customers and vendors.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced department.
