Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace environment.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality job role and 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action.
• Experience in an aerospace, medical device, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a Supplier Quality organization.

Responsibilities

• Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and VulcanForms Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
• Drives supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement
• Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, Customer and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
• Maintains Supplier and Customer quality records
• Supports suppliers in the execution and verification of effectiveness of supplier corrective actions
• Acts as a lead auditor for onsite and remote audits to assess supplier qualification
• Regularly participates or owns writing and updating QMS documentation
• Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
• Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
• Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
• Lead investigator for all supplier caused nonconformities
• Travels to suppliers for qualification, development, and onsite inspection as required
