Job summary

Jabil seeks a Quality/Manufacturing Engineering professional to monitor and resolve supplier quality issues across programs. You will evaluate supplier performance, guide inspection plans, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

The role involves direct interaction with receiving inspection, MRB, and supplier audits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, 2–4 years in quality/manufacturing engineering, and PCB experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 2–4 years in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering; PCB experience preferred.
• Advanced PC skills; able to read/interpret technical journals, reports and legal documents.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) required; able to communicate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the focal person for commodity quality and supplier issues from components purchased for manufacturing.
• Ensure production-critical supplier issues are resolved promptly; implement corrective actions.
• Act as point of contact for Inspection Plans and Inspection Methods; guide Receiving Inspection Auditors.
• Maintain ongoing site supplier evaluation using data from Receiving Inspection, MRB, Customer Returns, SCAR; report results.
• Perform supplier audits with Corporate SQE when applicable.
• Prepare documentation to inspect components per Inspection Plans in SAP.
• Monitor and drive PPM issues with suppliers and aim for Dock to Stock with Jabil.
• Drive supplier selection strategies to create a cost-efficient, multi-program supply base.
• Proactively communicate issues affecting product costs or manufacturability to relevant departments.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies.
