Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Supply Quality Engineer for Field Services to influence supplier decisions and develop them to meet capacity, capability, and cost goals.

You will lead a distributed team of SQEs, support PPQ activities, and drive supplier strategies across diverse services. The role requires a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, 5+ years in field service or supplier quality, and willingness to travel up to 20% globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of field service experience in supplier quality management, procurement and EHS.
• Experience performing supplier qualification and development for global quality and cost efficiency.
• Experience leading projects and virtual cross-functional teams internationally.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically & internationally.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for developing procurement strategies and project planning.
• Lead a distributed team of SQEs and drive standards.
• Support PPQ for Field service approvals with planning, tracking, and budgeting.
• Develop strategic suppliers and resolve critical technical issues.
• Collaborate with Execution Units to qualify products and processes.
