Job summary

Magna Seating in Moore, Oklahoma seeks a capable Quality Engineer to manage supplier quality systems and lead new product launches through SOP. You will support risk assessments, audits, and PPAP/ISIR activities while collaborating with global teams to uphold quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in quality, a strong problem-solving background, and familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and control plans; CQE is a plus. Regular travel and shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• University degree/college diploma in a technical quality field.
• 3–5 years of experience in the quality field in a technical capacity.
• Proven problem-solving skills using structured methodologies.
• Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and control plans.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, and travel as needed.
• Ability to coordinate internal data and liaise with suppliers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage supplier quality systems to meet specs.
• Lead quality aspects of new product launches through SOP.
• Support with risk assessments, process diagrams, and product development.
• Conduct supplier quality audits to verify capability.
• Lead problem-solving using 8D and cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee tests and validations with suppliers before SOP.
• Review supplier ratings and develop quality/production systems.
• Manage ISIR release / PPAP for assigned suppliers.
