The George Washington University seeks a Manager, International Student and Scholar Advising to lead a fast-paced, collaborative team responsible for F-1 and J-1 immigration compliance, ISO Admissions and Exchange programs.

You will supervise two full-time staff, interpret regulations, sign key immigration documents for attendance, transfers, extensions, employment authorizations, re-entry, and status changes, and foster relationships with global partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with F-1 and J-1 immigration compliance, SEVIS, and international student programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a full-time team overseeing international admissions and exchange programs.
• Serve as the go-to expert for F-1 and J-1 immigration compliance (I-20/DS-2019, SEVIS, status changes, work authorizations).
• Manage inbound international exchanges, build relationships with partner institutions, and lead student orientation sessions.
