Job summary

Form Energy is hiring an experienced professional to manage the development and execution of Form's global supply chain strategy for critical structural metal assemblies. This role reports to the Director of Global Supply Management and involves researching markets, engaging suppliers, and developing sourcing strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Relocation assistance is available. You will own the metal parts sourcing strategy, negotiate terms, and drive continual cost

Qualifications

• 6+ years in strategic sourcing and/or category management in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep category experience in metal parts strategic sourcing, market/pricing mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with welded/fabricated structural metal assemblies including welding processes (MIG, TIG), fabrication methods, and quality standards (AWS D1.1, GD&T, PPAP).
• Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and IP concepts.
• Data-driven, detail-oriented decision making with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; capable of cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, or similar field.
• Ability to work in the US and travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Own the structural metal weldments category at Form (welding/fabricated metal assemblies) including supplier relationships and contracts.
• Collaborate with Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering and Strategic Supply to define and drive sourcing strategy.
• Negotiate favorable terms, manage the full sourcing process, and drive cost reduction and avoidance.
• Monitor market conditions, supplier capacities, and technology roadmaps; identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure best-in-class suppliers and mitigate costs through cost analyses and market insights.
