Job summary

Form Energy, a Berkeley‑based company advancing energy storage technology, seeks an experienced professional to lead the global metal parts sourcing strategy. You will collaborate across leadership, supply chain, and engineering to define and execute supplier relationships, contracts, and cost optimization for welded, fastened, and sheet metal components.

Qualifications

• 2+ years deep category experience in metal parts sourcing and manufacturing processes
• Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and IP concepts
• Data-driven, detail-oriented decision making with strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Own the fabricated metal parts category at Form, including supplier relationships and contracts
• Collaborate with Leadership, Supply Chain, Engineering and Strategic Supply teams to drive the sourcing strategy
• Negotiate favorable terms to optimize costs, lead times, and risk across the end-to-end sourcing process
• Secure best-in-class pricing through price analysis, cost reductions, and logistics optimization
• Monitor market conditions, supplier capacities, tech roadmaps, and supply challenges
• Mitigate risks by analyzing costs, forecasting trends, and leveraging market expertise
