Job summary

Harvey Nash seeks an experienced Commodity Manager / Strategic Sourcing Manager for a 12-month engagement in Seattle, WA. You will lead sourcing strategies, negotiate vendor agreements and statements of work for machined parts, optics, harnesses, valves, motors, batteries and other technical commodities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, 4+ years in strategic sourcing, strong cross-functional collaboration, and proficiency with Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python.

Qualifications

• Experience working across cross-functional teams and partnering with people at all levels including coaching junior staff.
• 4+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, and financial analysis.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
• Experience managing machine parts, optics, wire harnesses, valves, motors, battery, hardware components, or equivalent technical commodities.
• Experience using multiple ERP or other procurement tools.

We are looking for an experienced Commodity Manager / Strategic Sourcing Manager with Prior experience in supply chain procuring machined parts, optics, harnessing, valves, motors, battery, hardware, or equivalent technical commodities. A successful track record developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating agreements and statements of work.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
• Experience managing machine parts, optics, wire harnesses, valves, motors, battery, hardware components, or equivalent technical commodities.
• Experience using multiple ERP or other equivalent procurement tools.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $70/hr to $80/hr on w2.
