Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Strategic Operations Lead for its Global Payroll Operations, reporting to the Director. This role will operate in a chief-of-staff style, aligning Product, Engineering, CX, Implementation, and Legal to drive scalable, measurable execution across 80+ countries.

5+ Years of high-impact experience in BizOps, Strategy & Ops, or Program Management.
Experience driving cross-functional programs and executing complex initiatives.
Comfort with AI/tools and automation to scale operations.
Ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

Lead high-priority operational programs across global payroll product lines, standardize workflows, and build durable playbooks and automation.
Drive global operating cadences, executive reviews, and accountability frameworks with clear milestones and ROI.
Act as senior escalation point for high-friction customer issues and drive end-to-end resolution.
Serve as operational link across Ops, Product, Engineering, CX, and external partners; document gaps and risks clearly.
Partner with leadership to scale the team, manage headcount planning, budgets, and training programs.
Collaborate across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM and accommodate time-zone differences for meetings.
