Job summary

MRI Software seeks a Director of Global Strategic Finance to lead the financial strategy, planning, and investor communications across our global organization. This senior partner to the CFO and Board will own global planning and forecasting, consolidation and close, capital allocation, and M&A transaction modeling.

You will report to the Senior Director and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the board, driving rigorous financial discipline across geographies and entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience—three-statement modeling, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and business analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance or FP&A with board-level reporting.
• M&A experience with transaction modeling, synergy analysis, due diligence, and integration planning.
• Global/multi-entity experience across geographies, currencies, and governance.
• Experience with EPM planning tools (Adaptive Insights, Vena, Hyperion, Anaplan) and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• CPA and/or MBA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead global financial planning and forecasting across all business units and geographies.
• Own P&L consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and variance analysis.
• Oversee board reporting, investor communications, and earnings guidance.
• Develop capital allocation frameworks and ROI/scenario modeling for initiatives.
• Build and stress-test strategic financial models (organic growth, M&A, divestitures).
• Lead acquisition due diligence, valuation analysis, and post-close integration planning.
• Monitor debt covenants, liquidity, and KPI performance; advise leadership on headroom.
• Ensure GAAP/ASC 606 compliance and strong financial controls with Audit/Accounting.
