Job summary

OpenArt AI is seeking a Strategic Events Manager to shape and execute its global events strategy, with an initial focus on Los Angeles and New York. You’ll lead participation in major conferences, executive dinners, roundtables, workshops, and other high-touch activations.

You will identify opportunities, assemble the right attendees, build thought leadership, generate qualified leads and pipeline, and maximize ROI from every event.

Qualifications

• Native-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent execution with high attention to detail and multi-workstream management.
• Strong ownership, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and sales instincts; comfortable engaging senior executives.
• Strategic, first-principles thinking with business sense.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving startup and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute major industry events, executive dinners, roundtables, workshops, and other strategic activations.
• Identify and evaluate events, sponsorships, partnerships based on strategic value and potential ROI.
• Build targeted executive and attendee lists, and drive attendance through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
• Develop relationships with senior executives, brands, agencies, studios, partners, and industry leaders.
• Partner with sales, marketing, partnerships, and leadership to ensure events support broader business goals.
• Own event execution end to end, including planning, outreach, logistics, coordination, follow-up, and measurement.
• Track event performance, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and overall ROI.
• Continuously identify new event formats, partnerships, and opportunities to strengthen OpenArt’s market presence.
