Job summary

Sulzer, a leading engineering company, seeks a procurement professional under the Supply Chain Manager to plan and execute commodity strategies on a global scale. You will manage supplier performance, negotiate pricing, and build supplier relations to continuously improve the supply chain.

Key duties include tactical purchasing, expediting material, maintaining ERP data, and aligning supply with lean manufacturing goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Desirable APICS, Lean Six Sigma, CPM/CPSM certifications.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing procurement/supply chain.
• Knowledge of procurement laws and ethics; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute commodity strategies globally under Supply Chain Manager.
• Manage supplier performance and negotiate pricing and LTAs/BPOs.
• Source commodities for best quality, delivery and cost; drive lean improvements.
• Maintain lead times and delivery dates in ERP; communicate with suppliers.
