Job summary

Tory Burch is seeking a Director of Store Design to lead global store design efforts for Full Price, Off Price, Travel Retail, and Wholesale formats. You will drive end-to-end design, planning, and construction across regions while balancing brand integrity, budget, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Architecture or interior design degree preferred but not required
• 12 years of experience in Retail architecture, store design, or multi-site project
• Leadership experience leading, managing, mentoring an internal team as well as outside consultants
• Portfolio showcasing both conceptual design, custom millwork, built project experience
• Experience supporting international retail markets preferred
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects across varying phases

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of global store design projects across regions and formats
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept development through construction and store openings
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Retail, Visual Merchandising, Store Operations, IT, Construction, international teams) to balance brand, operational, timeline, and budget goals
• Manage budgets and schedules, maintain design standards, review architectural and construction documents, and guide landlord approvals
• Identify risks, develop multiple solution pathways, and align stakeholders to keep momentum and design excellence
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing Store Design & Construction team
