Goodwin Procter LLP, a leading U.S. law firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Global Operations Team.

You will support the GL accounting team with day-to-day transactions, month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting support, and financial reporting, collaborating across departments. The role emphasizes process improvement, automation, and accurate financial information across domestic and international entities, with opportunity for professional growth and exposure to high-stakes

Responsabilités

• Substantiate financial transactions by reviewing supporting documentation and ensuring proper approvals.
• Support monthly close with timely tasks and variance investigations.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly bank and general ledger accounts and resolve variances.
• Assist budgeting and reforecasting processes for owned accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and internal financial reporting as needed.
• Support treasury and accounts payable with daily banking transactions across currencies.
