Job summary

Radar is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed SRE team and drive a roadmap for scalable, highly available production infrastructure. You will oversee observability, incident management, and core infrastructure deployed on AWS via EKS, with a focus on multi-region deployments.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and security teams, and advocate automation while engaging with customers and prospects to ensure successful implementations at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a production AWS environment via Terraform.
• Experience with high availability multi-region production infrastructure on Kubernetes.
• Experience managing large sharded Mongo clusters with heavy read-write workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and mentor a globally distributed SRE team.
• Be responsible for observability, monitoring, and incident management.
• Work on core Radar infrastructure using Terraform all deployed to AWS via EKS.
• Collaborate with product, data, platform, and security engineers to ensure highly‑available, scalable, and reliable software.
• Champion automation and self-service capabilities over manual processes; embrace AI-assisted tooling.
• Drive critical initiatives such as 99.99+% availability and multi-region deployment.
• Ensure security by default in processes and infrastructure with security teams.
• Have your work be used by hundreds of millions of devices.
• Be part of the on‑call rotation.
• Talk to Radar customers and prospects to incorporate feedback.
