Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Sr. Purchasing Manager to lead a multi-site team of buyers supporting the North America Commercial segment.

You will own material planning, purchasing, and inventory management while driving process improvements and supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities include developing disciplined procurement processes (MRP, inventory control, VMI), leading cost-saving initiatives, and partnering with suppliers to reduce lead times and improve quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 5–10 years of relevant purchasing experience.
• College-level mathematical skills and advanced computer proficiency.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical ability, high reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent report-writing and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of purchasing professionals to drive accountability and results.
• Build a stable, visible supply chain via disciplined MRP, inventory management, and VMI.
• Manage strategic and tactical procurement and overall materials management.
• Analyze inventories to increase turns, reduce waste, and improve material availability.
• Develop and implement site procurement processes optimizing inventory and obsolescence recovery.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and implement global sourcing strategies; set KPI targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers to reduce lead times and deliver in smaller, frequent batches.
