PCI Pharma Services in the United States is seeking a Sr. Purchasing Manager to lead a multi-site procurement team for the North America Commercial segment.
You will oversee material planning, purchasing, and inventory management while driving process improvements and technology enablement across the supply chain. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier collaboration, and cost-saving initiatives, with accountability for KPIs, lead times, and MRP-driven operations to ensure uninterrupted
The Sr. Purchasing Manager will lead a multi-site team of buyers supporting the North America Commercial business segment. Responsible for all aspects of material planning/purchasing and inventory management, you will also provide the leadership for system improvements, standardizing processes, and advancing technology to drive continuous improvement of the total supply chain.
This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training. College Level Mathematical Skills Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs. Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs. High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms. High Standard of Report Writing Preferred: Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires. Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
