Job summary

MKTG S+E, part of the dentsu Sports International network, seeks a VP, Global Client Lead to oversee sponsorship strategies and execution across markets. You’ll lead integrated programs with regional teams and rights holders, starting with Formula 1 and expanding to additional sports and partnerships.

Reporting to the EVP, Sponsorship Consulting, you will translate client objectives into measurable outcomes, present strategic recommendations to C-level stakeholders, and grow the account through

Qualifications

• 12+ years in sponsorship consulting, sports marketing, partnerships, or related fields.
• 4+ years of direct experience on Formula 1 sponsorship programs
• Prior agency experience required
• Experience managing global or multi-market sponsorship programs
• Proven success leading complex client relationships
• Experience in matrixed organizations with direct and indirect reporting
• Strong commercial acumen, including negotiating partnerships and structuring deals

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior account lead for a major global client, owning the relationship
• Develop and lead global sponsorship strategies, including Formula 1
• Oversee execution of integrated marketing and sponsorship programs across regions
• Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams (10–30 team members)
• Build and maintain relationships with global rights holders and partners
• Translate client objectives into actionable sponsorship strategies and measurable outcomes
• Present strategic recommendations and insights to senior stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to grow accounts through partnerships and new properties
• Ensure consistency and alignment across all workstreams in a global delivery model
