Job summary

Chandler, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee import and global manufacturing projects, coordinating sourcing, production, and logistics across our global supply chain.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in managing complex projects involving global sourcing, import procurement, or international supply chain.
• Proven track record managing suppliers and production at overseas factories.
• Experience working in a project-based or manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Must be available for international travel 1–2 times per year for supplier and factory visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and supplier selection for imported projects
• Evaluate supplier capability, capacity, and fit for each project
• Build and maintain supplier relationships overseas
• Ensure clear communication and understanding of project scope
• Work closely with Global Sourcing & Import Specialist on compliance and import logistics
• Own outsourced production milestones from kickoff through delivery
• Monitor production schedules at overseas factories and intervene when at risk
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Production, and Buyers to ensure supply chain readiness
• Identify and manage supplier capability risks, quality issues, and supply chain disruptions
• Protect project margins through proactive sourcing and risk mitigation
• Measure success by supplier performance, on-time delivery and sourcing effectiveness
