Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to drive procurement of materials, equipment, and services globally. You will develop commodity strategies, execute negotiations, and collaborate with suppliers and internal partners to meet budget and quality targets.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain roles, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a track record of cross-functional leadership within an automotive or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sourcing pipeline, benchmarking data, strategy presentations, global budget, and on-time metrics
• Adhere to corporate purchasing and accounting procedures and practices
• Lead sourcing and contracting activities: strategy, bid list, quotes, T&C, compliance, quality alignment
• Provide leadership in sourcing recommendations and cross-functional alignment
• Manage RFQ process documentation per GM Audit Services requirements
• Support direct material budget activities
• Lead or support supplier relationship management and issue resolution
• Perform change management activities and supplier KPI reviews
• Represent purchasing in supplier risk mitigation and minimizing supply disruptions
• Promote GM behaviors and customer-focused decisions
