Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Global Sourcing Manager for Semiconductors to help build a resilient supply chain supporting our electronics and software initiatives. Based in Mountain View, CA with hybrid travel to Warren, MI, you will lead commodity strategies, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional alignment with engineering, legal, and finance teams.

You will develop strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization while ensuring quality, delivery, and risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or program management experience.
• Experience in semiconductors.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and drafting contracts.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience with RFQ processes and Procure to Pay (P2P).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies based on market trends.
• Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal, finance and operations teams.
• Lead RFQ management and change management processes.
• Support budget, cost analyses and contingency planning.
