Job summary

Barco Products in Waukesha, WI is seeking an International Buyer/Planner to source and manage overseas finished goods, coordinate production, freight, and payments. You will negotiate costs with suppliers and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining data in the ERP system.

Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Sales to meet specs, lead times, and budgets. This role requires strong negotiation, analytical skills, and experience with Incoterms and international shipping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of international purchasing, buying, or planning, including overseas supplier sourcing.
• Experience with Incoterms, international payments, and import/export documentation.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and managing overseas supplier portfolio to meet specs, costs, and quality.
• Place, track, and expedite international purchase orders; coordinate production schedules.
• Negotiate costs, terms, and payment with suppliers; manage lead times and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for ocean/air shipments; ensure accurate shipping docs.
