Stoughton Trailers, LLC is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Leader to drive commodity strategy development and execution across the organization. You will mentor a team, manage supplier relationships, and align efforts with the VP of Supply Chain to deliver cost savings and performance improvements.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement to optimize quality, delivery, and overall supply chain performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or a related area.
• CPM/CPSM/CSM or equivalent certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of Sourcing professionals to create, implement and manage commodity strategies.
• Lead creation and execution of commodity strategies aligned with organizational directives.
• Act as a center of excellence for commodities with understanding of industry trends and innovations.
• Provide guidance to Commodity Management and lead ideation workshops.
• Set department goals in alignment with VP Supply Chain objectives.
• Ensure achievement of cost savings targets and supply chain metrics.
• Develop and manage Supplier Scorecard and on-site supplier audits.
• Define supplier performance metrics and review performance with suppliers.
• Identify and develop supplier relationships emphasizing flexibility, delivery, quality and reliability.
• Own supplier relationship management and contract execution aligned with financial objectives.
• Drive CI improvements to achieve world-class cost, quality, service and delivery.
• Participate in Make/Buy analyses to optimize savings opportunities.
• Optimize supplier rebates and tracking mechanisms.
• Monitor industry trends and evolving technology to mitigate risk and ensure continuity.
• Lead sourcing events from planning through supplier engagement, evaluation and selection.
• All other duties as assigned by manager.
