Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to lead strategic supplier relationships, drive cost reductions, and manage risk across a portfolio of Pfister products and components.

You will collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations to deliver value, manage supplier performance, and optimize working capital. The role requires 7+ years of sourcing experience, strong negotiation and analytics, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 7+ years of global sourcing/procurement experience in a Fortune 500 manufacturing environment.
• Proven success in supplier negotiation, cost savings, and contract management.
• Former managerial experience with team leadership and project leadership.
• Strong analytical, financial, and cost modeling skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing Asia-based suppliers strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage strategic supplier relationships and interface for commercial topics.
• Segment suppliers and develop tailored strategies addressing cost and risk.
• Lead supplier reviews and corrective actions to improve delivery, quality, and cost.
• Develop suppliers into strategic partners delivering value and innovation.
• Drive year-over-year productivity through cost-based negotiations and should-cost modeling.
• Negotiate and administer key commercial agreements (CMAs, pricing, VMI, licensing, exclusivity, rebates).
• Manage raw materials, labor, currency, and overhead cost drivers.
• Lead tariff exposure mitigation through pricing and sourcing shifts.
• Collaborate with internal/external legal resources and stakeholders on risk mitigation.
• Lead origin diversification and localization strategies.
• Ensure compliance and documentation integrity.
• Lead sourcing for NPI, resourcing, dual-sourcing, supplier transitions.
• Conduct RFQs/RFPs and make-vs-buy analyses.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality on supplier readiness and launch risk.
• Travel up to ~15% and support annual planning cycles.
