Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Senior Global Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across programs, focusing on cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational excellence. You will partner with internal customers and the supply base to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and strategic supplier relationships.

Responsibilities include leading RFPs, negotiations, and performance reviews, while driving analytics and spend forecasting. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' directly applicable Supply Chain experience.
• Experience with contract management, project management, and supplier relationship management.
• Proven experience with detailed data analysis leading to strategic sourcing recommendations and decisions.
• Strategic sourcing skills: SOW Development, RFQ/RFP/IFB, Total Cost of Ownership analysis and SRM.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and knowledge of Terms and Conditions.
• Self-starter with ability to adapt, improve processes, and find solutions.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Ability to influence all levels of internal collaborators.
• MS Office and major ERP system knowledge including web-based supplier interfaces.
• US Gov't position; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal customers to align sourcing strategies with program objectives.
• Support growth planning and scalability throughout the supply chain.
• Ensure early involvement with the supply base.
• Provide analytics and insight to internal customers/teams.
• Partner with Planning to analyze spend history and forecasts.
• Maintain day-to-day and strategic supplier and internal customer relationships.
• Issue RFPs, negotiate, evaluate and implement contracts and POs.
• Facilitate supplier business reviews and maintain strategic relationships.
