Skydio, a leading US drone company, seeks a Senior Commodity Sourcing Manager to develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-quality drone components and tooling. You will partner with engineering on NPI and sustaining programs, identify new suppliers, and manage RFIs, RFPs, and supplier performance.

This role emphasizes cost reduction, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, finance, and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategic supplier sourcing and negotiations.
• Proven track record with RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and award decisions.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering for supplier/component selection during NPI and sustaining programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology and commodity roadmaps; identify high-potential suppliers globally.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, terms, and awards; document commercial terms.
• Drive cost reductions; analyze spend; consolidate procurement across base.
• Support monthly close with component pricing and tooling investments; forecast needs.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance metrics to ensure best-in-class supply chain.
