Job summary

Veralto in Massachusetts is seeking a Director, Global Sourcing – Mechanical & Chemical to shape how we source critical materials for our global network. You will lead category strategies, drive supplier negotiations, and deliver cost productivity across mechanical and chemical inputs.

This high-visibility role partners with engineering, operations, finance, and legal, and requires up to 40% travel. Based in a hybrid work model from Waltham, MA, with remote options in the US as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, operations, or related field.
• 10+ years leading strategic sourcing or procurement initiatives in global manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies across mechanical components and chemicals.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives and influencing stakeholders in matrix organizations.
• Strong commercial acumen: supplier negotiations, contract management, cost productivity, and value creation.
• Experience using spend analytics, market intelligence, and digital procurement tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead global category strategies for mechanical and chemical sourcing categories.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, contracting, and supplier selection.
• Deliver productivity improvements, cost reductions, and supplier consolidation.
• Establish supplier governance, monitor performance, and expand global framework agreements.
• Develop risk, compliance, and sustainability sourcing strategies with cross-functional partners.
