Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years procurement experience in power generation preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills are required.
• Experience with SAP; Excel pivot tables and dashboards are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure assigned commodities.
• Ability to review and understand engineering standards and drawings.
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed for cost-effective procurement.
• Maintain detailed records of purchases and supplier performance.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, usage trends, and cost analysis.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers for best value.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast purchasing needs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in procurement.
