You will coordinate between engineering, sourcing, and suppliers to ensure alignment on specifications, pricing, lead times, and terms for NPD and production.

You will lead supplier evaluations, pursue alternative sourcing for obsolete or single-sourced materials, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize material costs and supplier relationships

Qualifikationen

• BS in Business or Engineering.
• 5–7 years progressive experience in engineering with procurement, sourcing, operations, and/or finance within manufacturing.
• Advanced SAP experience with Excel and databases preferred.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills required.

Aufgaben

• Leads design engineering feedback and support on cost savings efforts and acts as the sourcing point of contact for supplier bids, negotiations, analysis, and PO coordination with purchasing team.
• Identifies alternative sourcing options for obsolete, out-of-stock, and single-sourced materials in support of production.
• Provides direction on print/design review, interpretation of technical publications, source selection with Global Sourcing, and price/terms negotiation for new products.
• Conducts thorough sourcing analysis and on-site engineering support for supplier onboarding, VAVE reviews, quality issues, and production launches.
