Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Global Sourcing Intern for a 12-week summer program in Cleveland, OH. You will work with Sourcing personnel at all levels, supporting administrative tasks, spend data analysis, and RFQ project organization while gaining exposure to direct and indirect sourcing processes.

You will be mentored one-on-one, participate in lunch series and networking events, and have opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related field.
• Strong analytical skills.
• High competency with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated high initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative tasks including New Item Set-up Sheets, Quality Feedback management, Trade Agreements updates, Purchase requisition support and Purchase Order creation.
• Collect and analyze spend data that will be used to help Sourcing improve reporting.
• Organize data for Direct and Indirect RFQ projects.
• Review Direct and Indirect Sourcing processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
