Job summary

O‑I Glass, Inc. in Perrysburg, Ohio, is offering a fall 2027 Supply Chain Procurement Internship. The role collaborates with the Procurement team, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier engagement, and cost optimization across North America.

The internship emphasizes hands-on data analysis, RFx activities, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, and Engineering. On-site Tue–Thu with flexibility for academics, providing mentorship and future opportunity potential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• Prior internship, co-op, or relevant academic project experience preferred.
• Interest in RFx processes, supplier research, spend analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support cost-saving and supplier optimization initiatives.
• Assist with data analysis, reporting, and sourcing documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and plant stakeholders to support sourcing initiatives, resolve issues, and ensure business needs are met.
• Help track RFx activities, supplier information, and contract data.
• Shadow experienced Procurement professionals to gain exposure to negotiations and supplier management.
• Participate in cross-functional discussions with Operations, Finance, and Engineering.
