Job summary

The program starts with an 18-month development track at a paper mill or corporate location, leading to potential placement in a manufacturing or corporate sourcing role in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Transportation, Purchasing, Engineering, Operation Management, Material Management or Supply Chain.
• Authorized to work in the United States with a 3.0 GPA or better.
• Geographic flexibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills with advanced Excel and data visualization preferred.
• Self-starter with prior work experience or campus involvement.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, parts, supplies and equipment following established policies while optimizing price, delivery and terms.
• Follow up with vendors regarding order status and expediting needs.
• Support stakeholders in the development of specifications and requirements.
• Conduct competitive bid processes, analyze quotations, select or recommend suppliers, and manage delivery schedules.
• Negotiate commercial terms to achieve optimal value and minimize risk while ensuring all purchase requirements are met.
• Support inventory optimization through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
